Druidale Addicted To Love

Riot is Kaos's brother. He made his debut in the show ring in October 1998, but was been little shown as he ended up being over-sized. He was breed surveyed and received a class 2 grading. Not really surprising as he is over sized. Riot gained the Bronze Level of The Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme, and he was part of the team that represented BAGSD East Riding at Crufts 1999. Riot was a gentle soul and has assumed a guiding role in my pack after Wolf and Dax went to The Bridge. He may never have been a star in the show ring or in working trials but he has been a true shepherd at home and that to me is the most important thing. It's hard to believe that he was only 11 when he left me and went to join his sister Kaos who went to The Bridge in 2007. Riot was raised on a raw diet as a pup, but as my working hours changed, I found it difficult to fetch supplies, so he was switched to a commercial diet. This diet appeared to suit him, but as he has aged, he has developed a bit of a sensitive tum. He dropped weight and had loose stools. I have tried a range of diets to see which suited him best and currently there are two foods that suit him very well: CSJ Command Performance 21 and Skinners Lamb and Rice Sensitive diet The CSJ diet is salmon based and the Skinner's Lamb and Rice is obviously lamb and rice based. He is fed this diet along with raw chicken backs, wings and necks and this suited him very well and he put weight on and is solid once more. Although many people suggest that raw food should not be fed with kibble, this method suited Riot. Sadly Riot went down hill rather rapidly after Free went to The Bridge, and I never realised how close the two of them had become. I truly believe that Riot decided that he didn't want to be apart from Free and he went to join her on 11th August, 9 weeks after she had gone to The Bridge. Bye bye my big lad, you are missed here. There is a huge hole in my heart and in the household. Run free Riot, reunited with Free, Kaos and Sky.
