Wolf was my first pedigree GSD puppy, and was everything I ever wanted in a dog. He was placed in obedience, qualified and was placed in working trials and was placed in open and championship breed shows. Wolf  passed The Kennel Club Good Citizen Test Bronze Level when it was first launched. I would have liked to put Wolf through the Silver and Gold levels but he was a bit too stiff in his latter years, so I decided that it would have been unfair to ask him to try

 He qualified to go to Crufts in the centenary year in 1991. He turned his paw to anything that I asked him to do. I have many happy memories of him playing tag with Jasper, my cob cross pony.  Wolf was given sleep after his back legs gave up on him. It was the hardest decision I have ever had to take.

Wolf was the father of Dax, and means more to me than I can express in words. He was my soul mate, my protector and my teacher. Thank you Wolf for showing me all that a GSD should be. I still miss him like mad and I hope that he is having fun at The Bridge.  It was Wolf that showed me the way to play training, and set me on my path to be an instructor, dog trainer and behaviourist. Thanks my son.
