Dax was placed in both Open and Championship Breed shows and has several Best of Breeds to his name.  Dax's show career ended when he was castrated in order to make my life easy (3 entire males and 2 entire bitches in the same house isn't much fun!) 

Dax also qualified and was placed in working trials. He qualified CD Open, CD Championship and UD Open. Dax progressed through the Kennel Club Good Citizen scheme and achieved the Gold Level after successful completion of the Bronze and Silver levels.

These achievements are just memories now, and I miss the times that Dax and I spent together. We became closer after his father Wolf went to The Bridge. It seems a cruel stroke of fate that Dax left me on Valentines day. He appeared to have had a stroke and by the time I had called the vet, he was already slipping away. He died peacefully at home in my arms, surrounded by my other dogs. A dignified end for my special boy.
